These options were reviewed as part of a Detailed Options Analysis and investigated in line with the requirements of the Investment Management Framework (IMF) and the Queensland Government Project Assurance Framework (PAF).
A final recommendation for a Preferred Option was developed following significant consultation with various Queensland Health departments, market sounding of potential Contractors, consultation with users, impacted parties and the community of Blackall.
The Detailed Business Case and supporting apparatus received Board Endorsement and was submitted to the IRC for approval. The IRC granted approval to proceed through Gate 2 and commence activities for procurement.
