Destravis delivered the Strategic Facility Plans for each of the acute campuses within Metro North. These included:
This being a Whole-of-HHS exercise, Destravis first facilitated a MNHHS Vision Project which brought together Executives across the HHS. The objective being to establish a 20 year vision for the acute and sub-acute facilities, with each facility having a defined role within the HHS.
Destravis consolidated findings from a decade worth of reports conducted across the HHS, investigated international and national trends, interrogated the health service data and forecasts to develop key strategies which will guide the evolution of the HHS for the next 20 years.
This information, along with health service data and existing building and infrastructure condition, informed the development of a Strategic Facility Plan for each campus. Each plan proposed a staged expansion of service through refurbishment and renewals with long term potential of a full replacement within the existing campus, whilst keeping functional adjacencies, and thus safeguarding the short, medium and long term operational continuity of the facility.
Where possible, MNHHS can leverage economic development opportunities through private and commercial partnerships as a result of strong, existing ties with institute and industry. Potential expansion of research, community, commercial and other health related partnering activities are available in key, collocated areas across their sites.
Each stage of the Strategic Plans is supported by a robust Cost Plan.
